Hotels and Sundaes

We took a fabulous vacation last week and began our journey by heading to Pennsylvania. We saw some amazingly beautiful scenery during our long drive. We ended up staying in a beautiful hotel in Harrisburg called the Crowne Plaza. We had a fantastic room with plenty of space for the four of us. Gary loved the valet parking. Here are some images of the hotel from their website

The swimming pool (the first time we went in it was freezing, but the second time is was much warmer):

After driving all day to get there we weren't up to doing much, but we were starving. We headed across the river and found a Friendly's. This was a new experience for us and we highly recommend it. The service was wonderful, the food was fabulous and the price was right. They currently have a great deal on that we took advantage of. I had the most delicious chicken sandwich and the waffle fries were yummy!!!!!

But the absolute best part of the whole meal? Dessert of course!!!!!! I had the absolutely decadent and fabulously delicious Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Sundae!!!!!!!! Heavenly!!!!!

So if you are in the Harrisburg area looking for a place to stay I'd definitely recommend the Crowne Plaza hotel. And don't forget to grab a meal at Friendly's (try the sundae, you won't regret it :)
